Betty Kresin

Betty Kresin is Eminem’s grandmother. She’s the mother of Eminem’s mother. She’s 63 years old. She got married at the age of 14 to Bob Nelson. She’s got 6 children from 3 different marriages.

Debbie Mathers-Briggs

Eminem's mother, Debbie Mathers Briggs got pregnant when she was 17 and then got married to Marshall Bruce Mathers II. The marriage only lasted 1 year. She and Eminem never had a good relationship. She sued her son several times for defamation and for emotional damages. When her son got famous she tried to make peace with him, but with no luck. When Eminem found that his mother was suffering from cancer, they started talking to eachother again.

Marshall Bruce Mathers II

He is Eminem’s father. He started dating Debbie when she was 15. He left when Eminem was 6 months old. Eminem blames his mother for separating him from his father. When Eminem was young, he used to make drawings and asked his grandmother, Betty Kresin, to give them to his father. When Eminem was a teenager he tried to get in touch with his father. He wrote several letter to his father but all of them where returned to him. When Eminem got famous his father wrote a letter to his son that got published in the “Daily Mirror”. The letter said: "Hello, son. You won’t remember me, though I held you in my arms when you when you were a baby. You think I dumped you and your mother and never came looking for you. You’re convinced I’m a drunk who never answered any of your letters .Well, I want you to read this and realize you’ve been fed lies all your life. Now you’ll hear the truth for the first time.”

Eminem's uncles:

Steven Nelson

He is Debbie’s brother and Eminem’s uncle. He was the closest thing that Eminem got from a dad. Eminem was raised by his uncle after his father abandoned him when he was 6 months old. Eminem used to call him “Dad”. He shot himself in the head after being allegedly terrorized by a sheriff’s rotweiller. Nelson is Eminem's second close relative to kill himself -- the hip-hop artist's other uncle, Ronnie Mathers, killed himself last year following a traumatic break-up. A family friend explains, "This news has hit him hard. It will bring back all the memories of losing Ronnie. To lose two uncles at such a young age is terribly sad, especially as his father has never been around. The fact they both committed suicide is so tragic.

Todd Nelson

He is Eminem’s uncle. He commited suicide on October 19th.Since Eminem’s fame, Todd Nelson has rather expressed his anger against his nephew whon he accused to fabricate his past and to be very mean towards his mom, whi-according to Todd- “did her best”. His uncle also tried to sell old drawings of Eminem.

Ronnie Nelson

Born in 1971 just a couple of months apart, Ronnie and Eminem grew up as close friends. He introduced him to Hip-Hop. His girlfriend dumped him and he was so shocked and upset he killed himself with a shotgun in 1992 aged 19, and is remembered in the song 'Stan'. Eminem has a tattoo tribute to him.

Nathan Mathers

Nathan , also known as Nate was born on the 3rd of February, 1986 out of a relationship between Debbie Mathers and Fred Samara Jr. Nate and Eminem have a very close relationship and they spend a lot of time together. Eminem also brings Nate along on his tours, such as “the up in smoke tour”. Apparently Nate is living with Eminem.

Sarah Mathers

Eminem’s half sister, from Marshall Mathers II, Eminem’s Father. Sarah is 23 years old. She’s only knew Eminem was her half brother, for 7 years.

Kim Mathers

A well known name, mentioned thought out, most of Eminem’s lyrics, on-again off again wife Kim.The two knew each other, when Kim was only 13 and Eminem 15, started dating in high school (childhood sweethearts). Eminem and Kim had a child together in 1995, named Hailie, and also both adopted Alaina together. After the break ups and make ups for the past 10 years, the two tied the knot on June 14 1999. After only being married for one year, Eminem filed for a divorce because he saw Kim, kissing another man. The two reconciled but not for long. Kim filed for a divorce in march. Kim also has a another child called Whitney, she was the “love child” between Eric Halter and Kim. Eminem and Kim re-married January 12, 2006. The marriage lasted 72days. They recently got divorced again, divorce was finalized on December 22, 2006.

Haillie Mathers

Hailie was born December 25, 1995. Eminem just loves Hailie to death and points it out in nearly every song he writes and all his interviews. Eminem wants to be a better father to Hailie, better than what his father was too him. Some songs Hailie has featured in are “97’Bonnie & Clyde”, “Doe Rae Me” and “My Dad’s gone Crazy”’. Since Kim and Eminem’s divorce, they both share coustody of Hailie.

Alaina Mathers (Eminem's niece)

Amanda, also known as Alaina, is Kim’s twin sister’s child. Alaina is also a twin. Alaina has lived most of her life with Eminem and Kim. Eminem and Kim have adopted Alaina out, and Eminem thinks of her as his daughter, and Hailie thinks of her as a sister.
